Software license

unottr is licensed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies, including for commercial work. Keep the copyright and permission notices in copies or substantial portions of the software. The MIT License included with the software contains the full terms.

What a purchase covers

A purchase pays for packaged desktop downloads and the support described at checkout. It does not grant exclusive software rights or restrict the rights you already have under MIT. The versions, delivery, support scope, and any update entitlement included in a purchase are stated at checkout.

Your recordings

You keep ownership of your recordings, transcripts, and other content. You are responsible for having permission to record, transcribe, and process a conversation. Recording and consent rules vary by location.

Third-party services

Optional AI connections use services or software you choose. Their fees, terms, output, availability, and data handling are separate from your purchase. unottr does not guarantee the accuracy of generated answers.

Updates and availability

You may keep using and sharing the software under MIT. Future packaged downloads and support may be sold separately. Maintenance updates may change features or supported systems. Compatibility with every future operating system, model provider, or hardware configuration is not guaranteed.

Warranty and liability

The MIT License provides the software as is, without warranty, and includes its liability terms. Purchase and support terms are presented at checkout. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded still apply.

Changes

Updated purchase terms apply to future purchases. They do not revoke rights granted under the MIT License.
