Linux x64Supported

Release CI targets Ubuntu 24.04 x64. The staged Vulkan loader requires glibc 2.38 or newer; older distributions need their own validation. Vulkan is optional and runs Whisper on the GPU, with a CPU fallback. Recording a screen or window is available on Linux.

macOS, Apple SiliconSupported

Requires macOS 15 or newer. Transcription uses Metal and defaults to Large V3 Turbo, falling back to Small under memory pressure. Speaker identification runs on the CPU.

Windows x64Tester preview

Known testers can build an unsigned, CPU-only preview. It is not part of the packaged downloads.

macOS, IntelNot supported

Intel Macs are not supported.

What else it needs

• ffmpeg and ffprobe are bundled in packaged builds.
• First run offers Import, Record where supported, Watch a folder, or a fictional demo that needs no model downloads.
• Real processing downloads the Whisper and speaker models you select, then caches them.
• A model for AI overviews and Ask is needed only if you want them. Without one, transcription and search still work.
